"I think in terms of vignettes, Zima's art has a narrative quality that is enjoyed by the young at heart. Paintings,
Sculpture and all contents of this site
in the literary sense. My works are like short
stories, or poems. they talk about beings
with hearts and souls,
and attempt to express the spiritual unity of
all forms of life. I look for images in
elements that I've seen, or felt,
or wondered about. I strive for a healing quality
and a sense of rightness with the world."
It is realistic enough to give one something to relate to, abstract enough
to allow for dreaming.
